Author Name : Dr. Vijay Mehta, Ms Aarti Mahajan
ABSTRACT: Jean Sasson delineates the life of women in Arabian Peninsula quite graphically and vividly in her novels. She has explored the beliefs of these women in the superstitions, prophetic visions and practice of black art in the popular culture of the Middle East society. The paper explores how the women of the society conform to their belief in superstitions, black art and dream prophecies and omens to determine the path of their lives.
